You ask why? We’ll tell you why.
The “victim” in this case was no victim at all. The actual victim was 6 miles away...
"That bullet could have hit my daughter's window and killed her."
This complaint, leveled by Tiffany Morley after her neighbor and his friends survived an armed home invasion in their trailer next-door, was included by WPBF in to ensure that the fact that a child MIGHT have been possibly injured if a bullet had gone through two trailers in JUST the right spot at just the right time was not l...
Another day, another kill-crazy gun owner shooting a man who didn’t need to be shot.
This time, the scene was set in Tampa at the Cut Rate Liquor Store around 11 PM. Cody Bolesta, 20, and a friend walked into the store, leveled firearms, and calmly requested that the clerk make a donation to their personal expense accounts.
The intolerant clerk failed to take into account the fact that he might...
Two “Law Abiding Citizens” opened fire during a potential mass-shooting in a Columbia’s Next Up Barber & Beauty Salon, killing one man and possibly wounding another after “feeling threatened” by two men who walked into the barber shop.
The store was packed with about 20 men, women, and children just before 7PM on Friday as everyone went to get their haircut for the weekend.
Nothing makes even the most law-abiding of sphincters pucker quite so much as that authoritative knock at the door followed by, “This is the police! Open Up!” or whatever they say in your jurisdiction.
Criminals who have figured this out have decided to use social engineering in conjunction with costumes to make their entry processes easier. Why bother with lock picks or violence when you can...

The security cameras from the house show three men in parkas and at least one of them armed with a handgun.
One child was wounded and another killed yesterday when a paranoid gun owner opened fire on four kids during some youthful hijinks in Alabama.
Wait…sorry. That’s not quite accurate.
What we meant to say is that one armed burglar (18) was killed, another injured, and another two were arrested (ages 17-19) after a watchful gun store owner caught them breaking into his business and they decid...
Tramel Day and a friend knocked on the door of a St. Louis County home this morning. Minutes later, little Tramel was dead; killed for what is seen by some as a trivial reason to take the life of a child.
His shooter, 32, tells police that he saw Tramel and his friend at the front door of his home and, not recognizing the child or his friend, went to get his firearm.
